Allowing shoppers to reserve your products

Enabling the 'Reserve a Product' button on your shop page

To help you get through the second lockdown, we're introducing a new feature on our near.st shop pages that will allow shoppers to ask you about reserving specific products for pick-up.

This feature is especially useful if your shop is closed for walk-ins, but still can provide product pick-up services.

How it works

Once this feature is enabled for your shop, we will add a new button to your shop page called 'Reserve a Product'.

 

From there, shoppers can send you a message about a product, and you will receive an email with their request. You can then give the shopper a call or send them an email to let them know whether the product is available and when they can pick it up. Payments will happen in the shop.

How to enable it

In your MyShop dashboard, under the 'Shop page' menu item, you can specify a Reservation email address. Once this has been added, we will automatically enable the 'Reserve a Product' feature on your shop page within an hour.
