Enabling the 'Reserve a Product' button on your shop page

Our 'Reserve a Product' feature sits in your NearSt shop landing page and allows shoppers to ask you about reserving specific products for pick-up.

Originally created to help stores during COVID restrictions, this feature is still useful today as it guarantees shoppers browsing online that they'll be able to pick up and pay in-store.

How it works

Once this feature is enabled for your shop, we will add a new button to your NearSt shop landing page called 'Reserve a Product'.

From this button, shoppers can send you a message about a product, and you will receive an email with their request. You can then give the shopper a call or send them an email to let them know whether the product is available and when they can pick it up. Payments will happen in the shop.

How to enable it

In your MyShop dashboard, under the 'Shop page' menu item, you can specify a Reservation email address. Once this has been added, we will automatically enable the 'Reserve a Product' feature on your shop page within an hour.

Please note that the NearSt shop landing page is accessed through the 'Website' button in your Google Business Profile.
