Once you've enabled one or more local delivery channels, you can manage settings related to these channels in the Inventory section of the NearSt dashboard.

You can access this in the retailer dashboard here:

  1. Select an individual location

  2. Go to the Inventory Manage items section

  3. Click on a product

If you have at least one delivery channel enabled, the following section will be visible at the bottom of the page:

The following attributes are available:

Option

Description

Price markup

Per enabled delivery channel, you can configure an optional price markup, allowing you to increase the price for which the product is available in the given channel.
Please note that NearSt doesn't enforce your contractual requirements with these channels.

Tax rate

The tax rate that applies to this product. This is set to the high tax rate in your country by default, and can be edited on a per-product basis.

Setting this to the correct value ensures the customer is shown the correct amount of VAT on their receipt.

Categories

The category under which the item is displayed in the delivery channel. At least one category is required for the product to be shown in most delivery channels.

⚠️ For Uber Eats, two categories are required, where the first is treated as the main category, the second as the subcategory.

Classifications

Add classifications for things like products that contain alcohol. These are used as special flags to indicate to the delivery partner there are limitations around how they can sell and display these items.
